Operation Sindoor: Pakistan stock market crashed, sensex green Posted by Nilesh waghela  Mumbai: The Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday recovered from early losses to tank 3,500 points after reports of an Indian strike on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The KSE-100 index plunged 6,272 points, or 5.5%, to 107,296 in early trade. Since April 23, the index has lost a total of 9,930 points. The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s flagship KSE100 index opened 6,560.82 points lower at 107,007.68, down 5.78 per cent on Wednesday. It was down 1,211 points or 1.07 per cent to 112,356.89 at 11:21 am on Wednesday. Following India's strike on terror hubs, Pakistani markets plunged, reflecting economic vulnerabilities. Stock market at new high,  Sensex scales 78,000 1st time posted by NILESH WAGHELA  Mumbai: Benchmark Sensex breached the historic 78,000 level for the first time while Nifty settled at a new record high on Tuesday on buying in blue-chip bank stocks and Reliance Industries amid firm trends in Asian markets.  Bank Nifty also closed above 52,000 first time. Nifty likely to climb towards 24,000. The 23,500-23,550 area is likely to act as strong support going forward, experts said. The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 712.44 points or 0.92 per cent to settle at a new closing peak of 78,053.52. Plea seeks Centre, SEBI to submit report Investors lost billions of rupees as market crashed on the counting day. Posted by Nilesh Waghela Mumbai: A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court, seeking directions to the Centre and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to submit a detailed report into the stock market crash on the day of election results on June 4, when investors lost billions of rupees. The plea, filed by advocate Vishal Tiwari, also sought direction to the government and the SEBI to submit a status report on the orders given on January 3 for considering the suggestion of the expert committee, headed by Justice A M Sapre, made in its report on the PIL in Adani-Hindenburg matter. The top court had said the Centre and the SEBI should constructively consider the suggestions of the expert committee and take any further action necessary to strengthen the regulatory framework, protect investors and ensure the orderly functioning of the securities market. Sensex, Nifty end at new record high Posted by Nilesh Waghela Mumbai: Benchmark index Nifty 50 hit a fresh all-time high of 19,003.20 on Wednesday, surpassing the 18,887.6 level the benchmark index hit on 1 December, 2022. Nifty 50 took 142 trading sessions to achieve the record.  Sensex hit an all-time high of 64,012.16 as well after hitting a high last week at 63,601.71.
