Mumbai, May 29, 2025: India’s premier trade event for the professional audio, lighting, and AV integration industry, the PALM AV-ICN Expo 2025, opened its doors today at NESCO, Mumbai, promising three days of innovation, networking, and opportunities for Indian manufacturing to shine on a global stage.
Running from May 29 to 31, the 23rd edition of the Expo spans an impressive 45,000 square metres, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of cutting-edge technology across sound, lighting, rigging, and audiovisual solutions. With over 300 leading exhibitors, the show aims to foster collaboration and showcase advancements from both Indian and global brands.
This year, the Expo places a renewed emphasis on “Make in India”, reflecting a strategic shift toward domestic design, manufacturing, and export. As India strengthens its semiconductor ecosystem, the demand for locally produced AV technologies is rising, positioning Indian manufacturers to scale operations and meet both domestic and international needs.
“PALM AV-ICN Expo 2025 continues to be the driving force behind India’s booming pro audio, lighting, and AV industry,” said Ramesh Chetwani, Project Director of the Expo. “With immersive sound, smart AV solutions, AI-driven technologies, and intelligent displays taking centre stage, this year’s edition is a launchpad for the next era of innovation.”
The show is divided across four expansive halls—two dedicated to pro audio, one to lighting and special effects, and one to pro AV—creating focused zones for professionals to explore the latest in mixing consoles, immersive audio, lighting systems, trussing, and visual effects.
Over the years, PALM AV-ICN has nurtured an ecosystem that includes sound engineers, system integrators, lighting designers, and consultants. Now, the spotlight turns to India’s capacity to design and build world-class technology. Domestic brands will feature prominently, underscoring the industry’s shift from distribution to manufacturing.
A major highlight is the three-day conference series, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners to discuss trends in AV networking, live event technology, and the future of audio-visual experiences.
The PALM Sound & Light Awards will once again honour excellence across stagecraft, sound, and lighting design—recognising the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations shaping India’s event production industry.
Following a successful 2024 edition that drew nearly 38,000 attendees, organisers expect a strong turnout again this year as industry stakeholders gather to explore the tools, technologies, and expertise driving the future of entertainment and event production in India.
Whether you're a rental company, AV integrator, or a creative professional, PALM AV-ICN Expo 2025 remains the definitive destination to discover, connect, and innovate in India’s thriving pro audio and AV ecosystem.
