Navi Mumbai Bengali Association Celebrates 46th Durga Puja with Grandeur

Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Bengali Association (NMBA) in Vashi is set to celebrate its 46th year of Durga Puja from September 27 to October 2, 2025. As the largest Durga Puja celebration in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), the event promises to be a fusion of culture, artistry, and community spirit.

Celebration Highlights:

Venue: The Puja will be held at the fully air-conditioned CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi, next to Vashi Railway Station, spanning over 1.50 lakh square feet.

Attendance: Over 8 lakh devotees are expected to attend the event.

Idol: An 18-foot idol of Goddess Durga, crafted by artisans from West Bengal using biodegradable soil from the holy Ganges, will be the centerpiece.

Performances: Bollywood singer Sudesh Bhosale and eminent Kolkata artists will entertain the crowd.
