Mumbai: In a significant escalation, Pakistan launched between 300 and 400 Turkish-made drones targeting Indian military installations across 36 towns and cities late Thursday night.

Pakistan attacked multiple locations in India, parts of a drone were recovered after a blast in Kanganiwal village in rural Jalandhar of Punjab on Saturday.

In response to Pakistan's continuous drone attacks on Indian border cities overnight, India launched retaliatory strikes at major Pakistani cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore. As per reports, India struck three Pakistani airbases - Nur Khan, Murid and Rafiqi.

The international community has begun responding to the crisis, with varying degrees of support for each nation.

*Global Reactions:*

- *United States*: The US has urged both India and Pakistan to reduce tensions through dialogue. President Donald Trump described the situation as 'tit-for-tat' and hoped it wouldn't escalate further.

- *Israel*: Israel has voiced strong support for India, with Ambassador Reuven Azar stating that terrorists must not go unpunished. Israel has long stood by India in its fight against terrorism, especially threats from Pakistan.

- *United Kingdom*: The UK has called for peace, with PM Keir Starmer working with both nations to encourage de-escalation. Former PM Rishi Sunak, however, supported India's military response, saying India had the right to strike back against terrorism.

- *Turkey*: Turkey has sided with Pakistan, condemning India's actions and expressing support for Pakistan's sovereignty. Turkish President Erdogan spoke with Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif to show solidarity.

- *China and Russia*: Both China and Russia have taken neutral stances, urging both sides to show restraint and avoid worsening the situation. China expressed concern over India's strikes, while Russia strongly condemned terrorism and encouraged joint global efforts against it.

- *Gulf Countries*: The UAE, Qatar, and other Gulf countries have urged calm and called for dialogue, stressing the importance of peaceful resolution to avoid further destabilization in the region.
