SEBI asks company to refund investors' money

Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Monday cancelled the SME IPO of Trafiksol ITS Technologies, which was earlier put on hold by BSE pending investigation, and asked the company to refund the money to the investors.

Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Monday cancelled the SME IPO of Trafiksol ITS Technologies, which was earlier put on hold by BSE pending investigation, and asked the company to refund the money to the investors.

"Trafiksol is directed to refund the money paid by the investors, who have been allotted shares in the Initial Public Offering," Sebi's 16-page order said.

The market watchdog has also directed BSE to oversee the refund process in coordination with the bankers to the issue and the refund process must be completed within one week.

શેરબજારમાં ૨૦૦૮ કરતા ભયાનક કડાકો બોલશે ૨૦૨૫માં Posted by NILESH WAGHELA  મુંબઇ: અમેરિકાના ટોચના ઇકૉનૉમિસ્ટ હૅરી ડેન્ટે ચેતવણી આપી છે કે ૧૯૨૫થી ૧૯૨૯ વચ્ચે આવી હતી એના જેવી ભયંકર મંદી વિશ્વના શૅરબજારોમાં જોવા મળી શકે એમ છે.  તેમણે ચેતવણીના સૂરમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે તેજીના જે પરપોટા દેખાઈ રહ્યા છે એ ગમે ત્યારે ફૂટી શકે એમ છે. આવનારી મંદી વિશે બોલતાં હાર્વર્ડ બિઝનેસ સ્કૂલના હૅરી ડેન્ટે કહ્યું હતું કે '૧૯૨૫થી ૧૯૨૯ વચ્ચે આવેલી ભયાનક મંદીને કારણે વિશ્વભરનાં શૅરબજારોમાં તબાહી મચી હતી અને એ કુદરતી હતી. એની પાછળ કોઈ કારણ નહોતું, પણ હવે આવનારી મંદી નવા પ્રકારની છે. આ અગાઉ આવું કદી થયું નથી. જો હૅન્ગઓવર થાય તો તમે શું કરો છો? વધારે શરાબ પીઓ છો. અત્યારે આવું થઈ રહ્યું છે.  અર્થતંત્રને આગળ ધપાવવા માટે વધારાનાં નાણાં એમાં નાખવામાં આવે છે, પણ લાંબા ગાળા માટે એ સારું નથી, ગમે ત્યારે આવા બબલ ફૂટે છે.’ આ મુદ્દે છણાવટ કરતાં હૅરી ડેન્ટે કહ્યું હતું કે ‘મોટા ભાગના બબલ પાંચથી છ વર્ષમાં ફૂટી જાય છે, પણ હાલમાં જે બબલ છે એ છેલ્લાં ૧૪ વર્ષથી ચાલી રહ્યા છે. આમ ૨૦૦૮-’૦૯માં આવેલા ક્રૅશ કરતાં પણ મોટા ક્ર...

Mumbai's First Divyang Park Opens at Kandivali Posted by NILESH WAGHELA  Mumbai: Mumbai has inaugurated its first Divyang Park, dedicated to children with disabilities, visual impairments, and special needs, in Kandivali East. Located at Ashok Chakraborty Marg, this park was made possible through the efforts and funding of Shri Atul Bhatkhalkar, a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. The park was officially opened on March 14, 2024, with a ceremony led by renowned psychiatrist Dr. Rajendra Barve, and honored guest Dr. Rubina Shankar Lal, Trustee of SOPAN. A special dance performance by children with disabilities, organized by the Shilpa Ganatra Youth Zone Dance Academy, added a memorable touch to the event.
